Trip Overview & Itinerary

Early Morning: Hotel Pick-up & Scenic Flight Your adventure begins early in the morning (around 4:00 AM) with a hotel transfer to Zanzibar International Airport. After a brief check-in and flight overview, board your small aircraft for a thrilling 40-minute flight south over the ocean and coastal forests into Nyerere National Park.

Morning to Afternoon: Guided Game Drive & Bush Lunch Touch down on a remote bush airstrip inside the park, where your professional safari guide will welcome you into an open 4x4 safari jeep. Set out across savanna grasslands, riverine forests, and lakes. Keep an eye out for vast elephant herds, giraffes, buffaloes, hippos, crocodiles, lions, and if you're lucky, rare wild dogs or leopards.

Around midday, stop for a freshly prepared hot lunch served in a designated safari site surrounded by nature, accompanied by chilled water and soft drinks.

Late Afternoon: Return Flight to Zanzibar Conclude your game drive with a final loop back to the airstrip. Board your flight back to Zanzibar, landing in the late afternoon (around 5:00 PM), where your private driver will take you back to your hotel in time for dinner.
