DAY-BY-DAY ITINERARY

DAY 1: Arusha – Tarangire National Park – Karatu

Your safari begins with a morning pick-up from Arusha, driving towards Tarangire National Park. Famous for its majestic baobab trees and one of the highest concentrations of elephants in Tanzania, Tarangire offers remarkable wildlife viewing. Enjoy a full-day game drive along the Tarangire River, the park's primary water source, where you can spot large herds of elephants, lions, giraffes, zebras, antelopes, and a wide array of bird species. In the late afternoon, head to your lodge in Karatu for dinner and overnight stay.

DAY 2: Karatu – Ngorongoro Crater – Arusha

Early morning departure towards the Ngorongoro Conservation Area and descent into the world-famous Ngorongoro Crater. As the largest intact, unfilled volcanic caldera on Earth and a UNESCO World Heritage site, it harbors a thriving ecosystem packed with diverse wildlife. Descending 600 meters to the crater floor, you’ll have an unparalleled opportunity to spot the "Big Five" (lion, leopard, elephant, buffalo, and the endangered black rhino). After a game drive and a scenic lunch inside the crater, begin your journey back to Arusha, arriving in the late afternoon/evening.

Overnight stay is arranged in the town of Karatu or near the Ngorongoro gate, serving as an ideal base between the two parks. You can select your preferred accommodation tier:
