Historic Stone Town Walking Tour
Begin your day exploring Stone Town alongside a licensed local guide. Wander through narrow, winding alleys, admiring carved Zanzibari doors and historical architecture. Key stops include the Anglican Cathedral and Former Slave Market Museum, the bustling Darajani Market, the Old Fort, and Forodhani Gardens.
Scenic Boat Ride to Prison Island (Changuu)
Board a traditional motorized boat for a short, scenic ride across turquoise waters to Prison Island. Originally intended as a quarantine complex, the island features dramatic coastal cliffs and historical ruins. Today, it is best known as a sanctuary for giant Aldabra tortoises—some over 100 years old! You'll have the chance to feed, interact with, and photograph these gentle giants while learning about their conservation.
Relaxation & Picnic on Nakupenda Sandbank
Cruise over to Nakupenda Sandbank, a stunning ribbon of pure white sand surrounded by crystal-clear Indian Ocean waters. Unwind under the tropical sun, swim, or snorkel in the calm shallow waters. On the sandbank, your team will prepare a refreshing picnic featuring fresh seasonal fruits, cold water, and soft drinks.
