Early Morning: Hotel Pick-up & Scenic Flight

Your adventure begins in the early morning with a transfer from your Zanzibar hotel to the airport. After a short briefing and check-in, you’ll board a charter flight to Mikumi National Park. The flight takes approximately 45 minutes, offering beautiful aerial views before landing on a bush airstrip right inside the park—an experience in itself!

Morning to Afternoon: Game Drive & Lunch

Upon landing, your professional driver-guide will welcome you into an open-sided 4x4 safari vehicle. You’ll head straight out into the floodplain and savanna for an immersive game drive. Mikumi’s landscape provides high visibility, making it one of the most reliable parks for game spotting. While animals roam freely in their natural habitat and sightings can never be 100% guaranteed, the park's rich ecosystem offers consistently amazing encounters.
