KILIMANJARO: MARANGU ROUTE - 6 DAYS TREK
Rise to the roof of Africa. Standing majestically at 5,895 meters (19,341 feet) above sea level, Mount Kilimanjaro is the highest free-standing mountain in the world and one of the world's famed Seven Summits.
The 6-Day Marangu Route—traditionally known as the "Coca-Cola" route—is the only trail on Kilimanjaro offering comfortable A-frame wooden sleeping huts instead of camping in tents. Traversing dense rainforests, high alpine moorlands, and lunar desert landscapes before reaching the glaciers of Uhuru Peak, this itinerary is intentionally designed with an essential acclimatization day at Horombo Hut to maximize your safety, comfort, and summit success rate.
