Trip Overview & Itinerary

Morning Departure & Dolphin Search Your excursion begins with an early morning hotel pick-up, transferring you to the departure point on the northeast coast. Board a traditional boat and head into the clear blue waters toward the Mnemba Atoll. Your first stop is a search for wild dolphins. If conditions allow and the animals are approachable, you’ll have the thrilling chance to slip into the water and swim alongside these intelligent creatures in their natural home.

Snorkeling at Mnemba Marine Reserve Next, move to the prime snorkeling spot along the outer reef of the protected marine sanctuary surrounding Mnemba Private Island. Equipped with mask and snorkel, dive into the warm, transparent waters to discover a vibrant underwater paradise filled with colorful coral gardens, clownfish, angelfish, and other marine life.

Sandbank Swimming Stop (Subject to Low Tide) When tide levels allow, your boat will stop at a pristine submerged sandbank near the atoll, offering a surreal spot to swim, wade, and snap photos in knee-deep, glass-like water.

*Note on Tides: The appearance of the Mnemba Sandbank depends entirely on ocean tides. While we always aim to schedule tours during optimal low tide windows, sandbank access is subject to tide conditions on the day of your tour.
